anyone know how much power S90's make(HP@?rpm/torque@?rpm)? u.s. spec versions only had one engine choice(2.9L I-6)?

S90's were made for 97-98 model years and only avail with an auto tranny, correct?

From the 95 to 98 model year, the B6304S made 181 HP@5200 rpm and 199 ft.lbs. @4100 rpm. The torque numbers vary a little (and so does the rpm at which it maxes out) due to the changeover from Motronic 1.8 to 4.4 in the later models.

The model name change from 960 to S/V90 came with the 1997.5 model year (leave it to Volvo).

Yes the B6304S (2.922L, 4 valve I-6) model with the AW30-40 trans was all we got here in the USA. Other countries had the B6254 (2.5L, 4 valve I-6)and the manual trans as an option.
