Alright, I think I am going to take the plunge.
Need anyones input on this....
I would like to put in a new exhaust for MY01 S80 T6.
and heres the kicker.... I want it to sound european and be barely noticable and low rpms/speed/idle. I would like it to ROAR at high speeds and rpm but maintain a EURO sound to it. I want to be able to pull into my Fire Dept, drive through the bays and drop my car to neutral and rev it up and them coming out expecting to see a Porchse
Phuz had told me to put in a magnaflow universal exhaust. The shop that I am going to carries a Borla universal exhaust as well, and I have heard great exhaust tones from Borla on bimmers, but I dont know about a Volvo.
I would like to get some input on this, for I do not know much about exhuast.
TIA
-Cope

I just dont want to sound like a damn civic zooming down a highway. Like I stated, I want it to sound european and be barely noticable and low rpms/speed/idle. I would like it to ROAR at high speeds and rpm but maintain a EURO sound to it.

Do you have a link to your exhaust?

per copeland's request:
stock DP for now (unless you really want 3" dp now), into 3" high flow cat, 3" resonator, 3" dynamax or magnaflow muffler, 3" tip(s)

Re: (Copeland)

Have you looked at the combination that ipd has for card flash, exhaust & filter? The combination seemed to be a decent price with nice results. I plan on doing that next year.

Re: (SkyWriter)

ok i listened to it while booting it today on the way home from work. i would say it was like an 'authoritative growl' rather than a 'roar'. that's about the best i can do
