I am not sure if you know this, but there is a long list of things that can be programmed for the S80. The dealer can use the VADIS computer and interface the S80 computer to change specific owner preferences. Things like light delay (30, 60, 90, 120 seconds, day-time running lights (ON/OFF), heated seats time, measurement units (English/Metric), and lock programming. In your case, your dealer can program your car so that it unlocks all doors with one press of the button. One press of the keyfob and armrest buttons will unlock all the doors. I have heard that some dealers charge for this service, and others do it for free. This can be done *for sure*. Hope this helps!

|I agree with Doug... the S80 remote has the poorest range I have ever seen . I have to be within 10ft before it works!!! Why have approach lights then...you've already approached your car!!!!!|
Volvo has really got to improve this, it is EXTREMELY irritataing
