233 FW HP, and 307 lb of torque
I was hopping for over 240 FWHP, but I was definitely not expecting all that torque. My first run I got 237 HP, however the wires were not connected correctly and it did not pick up the torque...
All and All, I am a happy camper

Nice, but I would have thought more with an IPD ECU and exhaust.

Re: (MadeInJapan)

MIJ you realize that this means I am making about 290 HP and 360 lb torque at the crank? I was expecting about 10 more HP, but in normal driving conditions, on the high way, I am sure I am getting those extra 10 ponies....

Okay...it's hard for me to understand dyno results. That's good. I also have an IPD upgrade but no exhaust. Just don't see how a 46 year old guy like me needs any more. Btw, got a ticket last Friday...first one in over 10 year. Very slow car on the on-ramp of interstate near my house. I hit the boost to go around him near the end of the ramp (bad judement), and quickly hit 80 in a 55- just in time to look up and see a state trooper hiding around the curve ahead. He gave me no mercy. Awaiting a "chance" to go to a 4 hour driving simanar that will erase this from my record (for $50), or pay a $300 fine and it remain on my record.

I would definitely take the class option if the ticket will be removed from your record... otherwise you will have to deal with insurance hikes...
Did you tell him you are a Principal? My wife is a teacher, and she gets away with murder...
Don't believe I've seen a graph quite like that. The HP curve is funny, too.
The torque should only be gradually dropping off, but not much. Should be almost flat. I can't explain this torque curve. Plus, the HP should ramp up as the RPMs climb. There isn't much of a ramp. It almost looks like a torque curve.
Somebody at the dyno shop messed up the graph. Your peak numbers may be correct, but the graph makes no sense.
regards,
MAJ
P.S. What gear were you in? This is a MT, right?

I know the guy was having a hard time picking up my rpm signal, not sure if that messed up the graph....
yes manual.
I did one pull in 4th 237 max HP
The Pull of the graph was in 3rd gear.
Still waiting to see if the driving seminar will even be allowed as an option. Seems this is typically given to folks as a "last chance." Anyway, if I say "principal," I'm afraid they're going to come back with, "you make good $$, so pay up." We'll see. This happened last Friday and the State Trooper still hasn't turned in his ticket to the main office.
Until that happens, they tell me they can't tell me anything....he evidently has 10 days to do so.

Believe me when I tell you this, I have a lot off experience... Do not pay the ticket, plea not guilty, fight the ticket, and let them know you are a Principal LOL

Re: (Wayne T5)

Yes the Torque numbers are off the chart I would have to agree, I am not sure why, but my car has a lot off torque. I mean my car is faster then a C5 corvette, EVO, STI, 2003 M3 from a roll from 30 mph...

Re: (dicostal)

There's something seriously wrong about that torque and horsepower chart. Look at where the two lines cross over eachother -- it's somewhere around 3700 rpm. Every other dyno chart that you will ever see will show the two graphs crossing over each other at exactly 5252 rpm. (Google the three terms 'torque horsepower chart' and see for yourself.) That's due to the nature of horsepower calculations: they're based on measured torque at a given rpm.
I'd go back to that dyno shop and ask a few questions. Something's not right here.
As for tickets, always fight them, even if you were in the wrong. Your driving record and your bank account are both worth protecting. for those who are pointing out that the chart is weird looking, not sure if i'm pointing out the obvious, but note that the units don't start at zero... 25 hp and 125 ft-lbs... that's definitely gonna make the curve look exaggerated and out of whack

Re: (rothe)

I know the system was picking up my RPM correctly at first; it must have lost the signal in between. That would explain the drop in torque so quickly.
I am pretty sure the Peak numbers are correct, so I am fine with it, but thank you for bringing that to my attention.
Re: (dicostal)

It almost seems to me that the hp number is at the wheels and your torque number 307 is at the crank.

Re: (Wayne T5)

I can tell you all why you are getting confused...
The torque and HP do cross at around 5250, the scaling is different on the chart from HP to Trq.. Look at the left column (HP) then the right column (trq) then go up at 5250 rpm they will be equal.
