Hello, I own an 850 T-gul and already have a quite nice looking dual exhaust setup on the car. It has dual twin chrome tips on each side and to most people it looks great. But to me, I am a perfectionist, there is one little detail that bothers me. In order to fit the tips on the passenger side of the rear bumber an autobody shop had to cut a notch into the bumber to match the stock left side notch. While the tips fill up the notch pretty good I can still notice that there is no "lip" or curve inward like on the left side. My question is, is it possible to fit an s70 awd sedan or 2000 v70 r bumber with the dual exhaust notches already stamped into the bumber onto my 850 sedan? I have seen these dual exhaust 70 series bumbers fit onto 850 wagons and even a 740 body with heavy modifactions of course, but is it possible without a huge body shop bill. It seems to me that the body dimensions of the 850 and 70 series are almost identical, but if anyone knows anyone who has done this or has any insight into the matter I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thanks for reading.

its not a true dual exhaust from the engine of course, its just got a pipe running under the rear of the bumber connected to the left side of the stock exhasut routing. The shop where I had it done did quite a nice job on it and bent it skillfully so that it flows equally on both sides and sounds great.

The bumper you want SHOULD fit, although I'm not 100% sure. I think if it dosn't fit perfectly, the difference should be small enough that a good body shop could get it on for you with no problems.
Good luck

Thanks, I thought it would fit also but now the only hard part is to find one. Does anyone know where I could get one or know the approximate cost of the bumber?

The S70R bumper in particular looks very nice. I am sure that a conversion can be done, I have seen pictures of 850's in Sweden with it done actually. I will have to try and find them if I can.
S70R

-Drew

ic...cool, if u get a chance, put up some pics . just to remind u, the painted bumper on the v70 tends to get scratched a bit if u'r not careful when loading ... seen quite a few marked up ones ...
