Just thought I'd throw up some pics on this gorgeous Friday. Redid the trim yesterday using Restore Black (already rained, though). Takspeed moose centercaps + rear R badge, crystal side markers, GG Bailey mats, aluminum knob covers. working on custom metallic blue door pin bezels. black Mimo eyelids on order.

Wow, Nice floor mats. Look like the sofa my grandma had when I was a kid.

Looks good. The trim looks great considering its nearly 6 years old. All you need now is the Takspeed R for the grill.
I don't quite get the floor mats, but hey, if you like em then thats all that matters.
What else do you have planned down the road?

They're not mats - they're Arabian flying carpets!
Looks very clean - gorgeous day too!

I have just thrown acid in my eyes to cool the burning sensation from looking at those floor mats.
Is it true you need an AARP card to even purchase mats like that?

haha, i appreciate the comments on the floor mats, both positive and negative. i originally purchased them for the 03 T5, which was ruby red with the beige cloth on leather interior. these mats complimented that car completely. they were $250 and i had the 03 only a year, so i wasn't going to give the mats away. i was hesitant about putting them in the R, but then remembered how much i paid for them. i've grown to like them and think they bring some needed color to the inside. and they feel good. anyway, to each his own, right?
i'm working on some metallic blue bezels for the door pins. i saw a few years ago takspeed actually sold the blue door pins, but no one does any more. thought i'd give it a shot. plan on putting them with the black R pins from ipd. i also want to finish the center cup holder lid in metallic blue, but no time now.
anyone know how to retouch the black paint on the center console and window 'sills' on the door? i thought about using tire gel or restore black or something, but maybe there's something better?? damn volvo and their crappy finishes. (plastic trim, interior paint, etc. etc.)
also, is there a way to touch up the silver on the pegs? not sure of the exact tone and i don't want to pay $500+ to have my wheel refinished when there's such little damage.
thanks for the replies. anyone got pics to share? everyone loves a good R photo.

A european plate on a japanese car is just wrong to me.
i know this post is old, but whatever.
