I have a 05 s60r automatic I’ve been having this issue where when I give the car anything above 60% throttle it jolts and then dies, I was thinking that it was a fuel pump or maybe cam retarding timing, I changed my fuel pressure sensor and when I scanned the car the Vida the only codes that came up where a ecm-2900 code, thank you

Possibly the Pump Electronics Module (PEM), which is separate from the fuel pressure sensor.

I replaced the PEM with one the last owner gave me. not sure how new it was but it looked like it was in almost brand new condition.

The FPS and PEM are common places to start. Next is the fuel pump. Check the fuel pump duty cycle with VIDA while driving it. If it's hitting 100%, or even close, the fuel pump might be going.

Change the fuel filter. Doubt it will help but it can't hurt.
