I saw pictures of the new S60 facelift and i just thought of something...
After driving an S60 as a loaner not too long ago, I realized that I really like the steering wheel. I like the way the buttons look and everything. I was planning on getting the "sport wheel" for the S40 in the near future, but I was just wondering if putting the sport wheel from the S60 on. It may be far fetched, but it was just a thought. I don't see any huge problems b/c the buttons are the same... the only thing is the wheel radius and personal preference. What do you guys think?
S60 wheel

S40:

Re: S60 steering wheel swap? (Dygitalpmp)

This came up before, here. No conclusions were drawn in that thread, but my guess is no, you can't. The hub of the wheel has to be able to accommodate the airbag module, and as you can see from the two pictures you posted, the modules are not the same size/shape between the two cars. Now, if you swapped out the airbag module as well, then maybe it would work, but that is probably going to be awfully expensive.
