So i got a 2008 volvo S60 2.5 D5 and i was thinking about replacing my front bumper with a 2005 S60R bumper, but i dont know if it will fit. So my question is will it fit my volvo or not?

From what I have read, seen and researched - Nope - Not with out a bunch of other parts that are under the cover... not really feasible or very cost effective. Besides why try to make your car look like something it is not.

I've heard exactly opposite. If you have the cover and trim pieces it should all bolt into place. No difference in the bumper bar between R's and s60's.

Their are some differences.... Rear Section, Support, Absorber. Not to mention things like the wipers, fog lights, grill, etc... I dont know if the OP has access to a complete front end or what... but starting from scratch; I think it would be costly.
