I have very little vibration, felt through the steering wheel and the seat on idle, at about 750rpm. When car is above 1500rpm, there are little less vibrations. It seems to have become worse over the last few months. I had change top engine mount, but that not solve a problem. What is the solution? Can be dual flywheel ? The S60 2007 D5 has 95,000km. Hope you can help.

Welcome to Swedespeed! Always nice to see D5 owners pop in here from time to time.

If its mainly noticeable when the a/c is on look towards the side engine mount, if its noticeable all the time, look towards the bottom trans bracket. At ~45k miles on a manual car it is probably the lower trans mount.

If you installed the top mount, loosen up the center bolt, crank the car up and then tighten the bolt. It may help, it may not. Also, if you installed a poly upper engine mount they take a week or two to "break in".

Cant say for your D5 but I would suspect under 1 bar. The Honda that sits next to my Volvo has a similar setup and it runs 8PSI or just over 1/2 bar. I have had to replace the vacuum line on it as the line developed leaks and gave symptoms very similar to what you are describing.
My suggestion is to check the supply line for leaks, and then look to that mount. Another possibility is the bushings at the ends of the top mount bar that runs accros the engine bay. They can and do go bad often as well.
Best of Luck I kinda wish we could get D5's here in the states.

Yes.

True or false:

,,when they (lower right engine mount - if you are sat in the drivers seat) go bad the symptom is vibration through the floor and steering but only on left hand bends as the engine weight shifts to the right and vibrates through the sub frame and steering"

I am asking because my problem is not only on left hand bends but even when car is stationary (at 0 speed, engine idle)

Question.

Engine off, ignition off - I try to move, shake engine, by hand, forward and backward, I'm able to hear air whistle from solenoid valve (30611668), because air is push back from both front and back vacuum pads.

Is it normal or my solenoid valve is bad ?
