I saw it to day at a local dealership Dyer and Dyer Volvo in Chamblee. The car has a full roll cage, Ohlins front and rear coilovers, that will be sold via Volvo dealerships in the future. The car had a Front Ohlins strut tower bar, 18" Volvo wheels, AP Racing front brakes, stock brakes on the rear, and a Tuned T5 motor, I didnt see a BOV but once the car was on you could hear the turbo spool up and what a nice sound that was, with the deep growl from the exhaust note. Hey guys if you live in the Atlanta area go and check the car out it wil be at the locarion for the rest of the week, they also have nice Volvo race trailer with XC90 painted on it, the trailer is worth going to see as well.

The rumor is that there were two of those brought into the country. I know one was touring with the Volvo Fire & Ice event. I wonder if they're lending them out to dealers now.

It some kind of tour the salesperson was telling me. He stated that the car is on tour and the sales staff gets to take a hot lap with a professional driver, I didnt ask who the driver was, I was more interested if Volvo will be selling the coilovers. They have a Volvo rig, with full race trailer in the front of the Dealership. George I will spin by the dealership to seee if I can get some pictures and more details and I will forward the information to you. I just have to say if, you are in ATL go and see that thing!

I know Volvo sold an Ohlins suspension for the 850 and FWD S70/C70. I don't think it was a coilover setup. It was prohibitively expensive though.

I wonder if, with all the contacts they have, IPD could source the sytem. I know it's in production and in use at the S60 Challenge series.
