S40/V50 Hand Brake Probems???

Heyah!

I just read that Volvo is recalling S40/V50's made from 2004 to 07 because of bad hand brake cable used in production. One car actually went down the slope and sunk in a lake - in Sweden, car was empty.

Did any one else heard about it?
