Positives, negatives??? I found a set that is a steal and I've decided to "do the right thing" and not just replace two tires, I'm doing 4.
What am I going to F up by doing this?

Speedo will read a little off as the tire will be smaller.
I am pretty sure this is the size that Jim Lill runs for his winter tires.

Re: Run 225/45/17's???? (Needsdecaf)

I had 225's when I bought my car and they were great for winter, also I had no rubbing , but I would still stick with 235's, there is less gap, speedo is correct, and they look alittle too small on the car

Dang, that's what I was afraid of, okay I'll get the same Kumho's that I have now.

i run a 225 snow tire. when there is snow on the road a narrower tire will have a better chance of cutting through the snow and staying on the road. but for summer driving stick to the 235, wider is better.

I looked at them on Tirerack.com and they look awesome, I love the tread pattern. They might be a bit more expensive than the Kumhos I'm looking at, but they will be pretty darn close to the same.

Well, I ended up with the Kumho's again as they didn't have the Continentals and couldn't get them for a week or so and my front tire was leaking like crazy and I didn't want wait that long. I could have gone elsewhere, but I wasn't in the mood.
Maybe when I have to replace these in a year or so, I'll get those, I like the look of them.

I'm sure I could have gone to Shore, NTB or somewhere else, but Sears has always treated me well and it's very close to my home, so I didn't run around town looking.
