And if so, how did you go about doing this?

Re: Rotten Wheel Hub deal (goddamnswede)

Call the main Volvo Customer Care and explain it has been causing problems for a month or two and you've just barely went past your warranty. They will work with you if you are stubborn enough, and if not they might give you a discount coupon for future OEM purchases. I got one for 30% off any OEM stuff good for up to $200 savings when I called about my PCV problem not being covered by the warranty and recall (it was extended to cover my car eventually). Worth the 10 minute call to try. Good luck! <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/smile.gif" BORDER="0">

Re: (goddamnswede)

Yeah, just don't forget to use it within the timeframe they write on it (it was like 3 months for mine), mine technically expired the first of this month but I did buy a $200-something OEM part during the timeframe, so I guess I will just send in the invoice from that purchase with the coupon. I was trying to think of something big I could get, and finally settled on the sport steering wheel but now it is too late to use the coupon on that.
