My XC90 currently has 18" Camulus rims. I was thinking about getting a cheap set of steel rims for the winter. Any suggestions?
Also, I would like to powder-coat (black) my existing alloy set. Can this be done and how durable is the finish?

Thanks,
Lac

You just need to find a powder coat shop local to you. Lots of aftermarket wheel manufacturers have gone go powder coating aluminum wheels. It is extremely durable. Like paint they can do a single stage color or a 2 stage color and clear. I recently had a set of steel wheels for my old beater pickup powder coated. It is phenomenal! It is much easier to clean than a painted wheel. It doesn't chip near as easily, and doesn't fade like paint. I actually had problems at first getting my beauty rings to cut in enough and they kept coming loose until they got a good bite.
