Came home again and found that the right signal lights were on and flashing on our 2006 V70 2.5T. When we had left 3 hours previously everything was fine. This has happened a few times now intermittently and out of the blue, no rhyme or reasoning. I played around with the headlight and signal arm and the lights went out. Came out in the morning and the battery was dead,

Any ideas anyone ???? David 905-356-7706 Niagara Falls

so I went to the dealer and they scanned it. Looks like a problem with the siren and the alarm system. said I could buy a new siren or have it disconnected through their scan software for $30. I opted for this and will hope this cures it. If so I can always look around for a siren.

siren module batteries are known issues.

You can get a replacement for about $300 and do it yourself, but you'll have to take it to the dealer again to have it turned back on.

If you're lucky the board inside hasn't died and you can build a new battery pack for it.
