After all the troubles I've had over last several weeks, I'm not going to risk it no more, and I ain't got the free time to take my car to the shop either, so I'm driving reeeeal nice and slow.
Should have bought 2.4t if I know this is the path I'm heading.

They recommended it over the T5 due the the fact that it had less turbo lag at the low end.
Re: Right now I'm driving my R like a grandma (stevectsai)

stevectsai, wow! Sorry to hear about all of this, I'm sure it's frustrating to say the least. Maybe you should look for a fresh start. Find a new Volvo dealer, meet the service manager and head tech and start working to solve all the problems.
I went through something similar with another car (not with my R) and eventaully found the right guy to calm me down, take a few steps back and tackle all the problems one by one until I finally felt good about my car. He was the GM and really knew how to get things done, pull strings, bend rules (ethically and within the law of course) and he just set everything straight. It took a couple months but it was steady, noticeable progress and ended with a very nice finishing touch of delivering me my car fully detailed looking, feeling and driving like new.
I hope you can find someone like this to take action for you and make you a happy R-camper.
LTA
I can't remember the part that I got replaced, but I had the same message about 30 miles after filling the tank every time. This happened to me every time I started the engine for like 3 months. I thought mine was on the drivers side though, but it was like a bubbly noise... It was the cars computer checking the ABS. Goofy sound, but not a problem, so I was told. It doesn't do it anymore. (I hope it's still checking like it's supposed to)
13. Common in the R
As for the rest... sorry about your bad luck.
