rEvolve CAI and box set-up

Browsing thru their site and thought this might be an idea that works too. Basically a box bolted onto the underside of the hood utiizing the hood grill to force more air through. I like the hood grills.

love the hood grills and they do work using the right setup. for example use the EST open air filter with hood grill over it and the Rkelly CAI. bore a hole throught the heat shield right beneath the filter and another hole beside the filter for the passenger side Rkelly CAI. you will have air coming from every direction under the hood, and while the car is standing still, hot air will be ventilated through the hood grills http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

hmmm didnt realize they had released it yet..... someone should have hit up a quick search, its not like this is new news..... on the bright side, if you are able to get one, i heard that when you install it, the air that it brings in comes from the magical land of Narnia, boosting HP by 11110000, easily (and those are conservative numbers)

alright, im not even going to comment on those bitter posts aimed at me...

anyway, from what i recall reading in other threads about this, people did not feel this would be all that effective, and that the "R" kelly intake was a much better approach. plus the evolve system requires the unreversible cutting of your hood. however a mixing and matching of systems like zayzay suggested would probably be quite effective.

+1...Lay off the kid! He is merely attempting to add humor to a humorous post about a humorous product that was never released. I'm sure if we did 'SEARCH' (ha) then we could find similar topics where you rudely interupted a 'SERIOUS' post/topic...

go ahead and look for yourself, and if you find that i interupted any topic let me know. by the way, the evolve hood grills have being released, i have them. the Rkelly CAI has being release and EST ram air filter has being released, they are all installed in my car.

look at my previous post, where did i mention evolve CAI. Evolve told me they will be releasing their CAI in three weeks, FINALLY.

look at my previous post, where did i mention evolve CAI. Evolve told me they will be releasing their CAI in three weeks, FINALLY.

I am in no way part of this.

But I ordered evolve side skirts 3 months ago.

They said the Evolve CAI/Heatshielded setup will be out in a month.

I'm not holding my breath for it.

Did anyone say the hood grilles hadn't been released? A bunch of people have them you tool. BTW, I was told once a month that it would be released in a few weeks, as recently as this past February. So I wouldn't breathe out and say FINALLY yet - keep holding your breath

If you look at the OP, he was talking about Evolve CAI....

Apparently, Evolve has been telling a lot of people a lot of different things...

Your HP numbers are off it's not 11110000HP it's 425HP

What about the 1/4 mile thread where you posted a 12.4 and then started yelling at people who, with just reasoning, didn't believe you? Thread locked due to your inappropriate words/behavior?!
