I am on a quest to retrofit the oem rear seat heaters on a 2012 S60 T5 before winter. Since this was a functionality was available on 2013+ models, I figured I would give it a try. All the wiring for the switch, seat heater modules and the heater pads etc was already installed at the factory. I have installed the rear seat heater pads between the foam and the leather/vinyl, the rear center control switch, both separate rear seat heat modules and using VDASH activated the functionality in the CCM. The switch is now activated, it has power, but I have no heat. Aside from fuses that may be missing since this is a retrofit, anything else I'm missing that would prevent these things from getting hot? I bought a used rear center control switch in the hope of not having to go to the dealer to get software programed.

Any thoughts?

Did you try just hardwiring to the battery and a ground to see if they do heat up? Eliminate the heaters themselves.
