So after a bit of a mishap I need to replace my windshield. I have a crack that has grown within the past few days, started off at about 6 inches, and is now well over a foot, as well as several deep chips. It's kind of a blessing in some senses, becase the OEM Pilkington was pretty soft as others have comented, and I would want to replace it either way.
My question is, does anyone know a good autobody glass shop in the GTA (LTA or zigger?). After talking to my service writer about my 60k service, I learned that that dealership uses speedy auto glass, would you recomend them? Also, will this effect the rainsensing wipers equiped on the R? And assuming they use pilkington glass again, will it be to the same saftey standards as the OEM glass?
Thanks a bunch.

Re: Replacement Windshield (ibanezplayer)

You can get OEM glass or whatever you want.
If you order a rain sensing windshield you will get a rain sensing windshield
Make sure you tell them (about the rain sensor) as the windshield is the same as an 01-02 etc
