Why does God hate me?

Tonight, I jumped into my car to go meet some friends and discovered that my driver's side sideview mirror was GONE. My mirror was snapped back and just the glass was missing. No scratches or other damage, just the mirror was gone...Knowing my dealer, theyre going to charge me $$$ to replace it so I tried looking for a replacement mirror on the internet and came up with nothing. Can I not buy just a mirror, or what?

I am so close to just driving my car into the lake...

Fear not, if it's just the glass gone then it's not expensive to replace - however, if it's a heated mirror, you should check the third-party options to see it they will work.

Most large car parts stores will do replacement mirrors for a wide range of cars since it's such a common problem - but if you have troubles, it's off to your Volvo dealer I'm afraid.

Check with IPDUSA as well as the local salvage yards. If you are lucky you will get one the same color.

What color is the car? I have a guy in the area that has a small collection of wrecked 850s. I may be able to get you one for a decent price. I am going to be buying lotts of parts next week for rebuilding my 850 so he may give the mirror for a lesser price since I'll be buying a front-clip from him.

Mine is the dark red. I forget the name of it, but you know, it's the pretty deep red color. I don't actually need the entire sideview mirror, just the actual glass. So that would be really helpful. I actually found my mirror, all smashed up in front of my house, and then a few yards up, someone's entire left sideview mirror. So some douchebag hit my car, lost his entire sideview mirror and good old Volvo held up and just lost it's glass.

Good to hear you're going to be repairing your car, i can't quite remember, but if your car wasn't an R variant already, you might look in to getting the R front and rear wings, not too much money if you find a decent place.
BTW, how did your titans come out of the situation? Are you sticking with those bada$$ wheels?

Lots of praise,
