Does anyone have good instructions (with Pictures) for removing the front bumper cover (w / Headlight Washers) of our s40s? Also, What tools are needed?
Some dimwit backed into me in a parking lot and left a nice trailer hitch shaped dent and numerous scratches and scrapes in my front bumper.
Anyhow... I scored a pre-painted bumper cover from an aborted repair on Ebay and would like to do the install myself if possible.
Thanks in advance!!

ever think to ask your dealer for instructions or directions? Mine gladly gave them to me

I don't have pictures but I can tell you that there are about 5 bolts underneath the front of the hood and a number of bolts in the front wheel wells. Once you take those out you need use a padded flathead screwdriver or putty knife to pull the headlight washed out a bit and then you need to basically "pull" them off with some force. They'll snap back on when you're done. Same goes for the bumper, if you take your time you'll notice it sort of clicks together in a way in a few places so find those and make sure you "unclick" them and with some force you can remove the bumper. Don't forget to unplug any wires you come across.
I understand you want some pictures but this is what you can go by in case you don't find any! It's pretty simple to do once you actually do it the first time.
Thanks for the replies!
I did not think the stealer would want to give me the instructions - I assumed they would want me to bring it in for them to do.
The above post should prove helpful...
Thanks again!

No, mine gave me the bluetooth installation instructions for free. Just walk to the parts department and ask for them. The worst they'll do is say no, or it's going to be $$$$!!! Good luck
