Did a search, and can not find any info on this subject. I'm seeking step-by-step layman's details on DIY removal of the door panels of the 2005 S60R so that I could apply DYNAMAT within each door (all 4). Does anyone have this info or can supply a link to this? Thanks much! I know folks have done this - how long does it take to do? Am I looking at an all-day DIY job?

Re: Removal of door panels (Short Circuit)

I think this is for older P2 models, but is probably really close:
http://www.volvoxc.com/resourc...l.pdf
I did it on a 02 XC and it's a fairly simple DIY job. Did all 4 to install mesh inlays which actually involves more disassembly then just applying Dynomat.

Re: Removal of door panels (pico de luuks)

Thanks, PICO. I was really seeking a more accurate & current description on current P2 models. After a whole day on the board, I'm surprised that only 1 person responded (you). I guess people have not done this to quiet down the car, rattles, and improve sound dynamics of the stereo?
Re: Removal of door panels (Short Circuit)

Removal is exactly the same on the facelifted models except that the centre pops out the handle rather than the whole front and the clips don't have push in centres any more.
