On my 850 the wind noise starts to creep in at about 80km/h (45mph) and gets to be the loudest noice at about 135km/h + (80mph?)
after doing this little "addon" tho the wind noise is greatly reduced!
I put electrical tape on where the weather strip touches the metal frame of the door. All around the front doors. and put some armorall on both the weather strip and the tape.
Now there is no wind noise even at 120km/h. Not even a little bit. Although there is still road noise and the engine is as loud as ever

Re: reducing wind noise - something that works... (xtremepsionic)

This could be great trip for someone planning a long road trip, road/wind and other continuous noises are known to be a factor in driving fatigue.

I wonder if it might work for my c70. Wind noise is about the same, at high speeds it's pretty damn loud. Only difference is that c70's are frameless windows, glass against weather strip. I might try it though, couldn't hurt to try.
