I have been seeing the red warning light periodically during WOT and deceleration. However, there is no error message. Have any of you encountered this before? Anyone have an idea of why it's doing this or is this a serious problem about to occur?
THanks

I was thinking about that but the car wasn't slipping, just going full steam straight ahead onto an interstate from a stop sign. one of the ill designed highways in CT
Someone else posted this awhile ago. It was a low coolant warning light. Check your coolant level before you kill your engine. There are a few things that you must check regularly: coolant, oil, and air pressure just to name a few.
Ahhhh, thanks for the information. I completely forgot about the coolant and I just went for my 7500 mile service to boot! So, do you guys use regular antifreeze or the Volvo brand?
