Hi all
We are getting ready to install our new stealth hitch and we’re looking for any recommendations on tools and processes to ensure we have a clean cut fascia. We took it off early this week, but then got nervous to cut anything since we didn’t want to screw it up...

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I agree, a box cutter carefully used will cut out the part you want to remove. The Hitch folks should have provided you with a template as to what they want cut from the lower part of the bumper facia. You will also note that on the facia itself are outlines for various options. I ended up cutting too little at first and then had to cut out the remainder with the bumper in place. That was a bit tricky. But still doable. Good luck. Take pictures and share.

Success.

Only thing I’d recommend is to make sure you have a socket extension in addition to the deep sockets to take off the bumper. We couldn’t reach the bottom bolts with just a deep socket.
