I have a 98 Volvo S70 sedan and have noticed that the front of the car and steering wheel shake when I stop. Since the brakes pads were changed to Napa Pads 6 months ago and they said it would need new rotors soon,so this is the most logical cause.
I am wondering if someone can recommend a garage (NOT a dealership or Swedish Solution) in the Cleveland, Ohio area and whether Zimmerman, Brembo, or Napa are the best rotors? I would like to save some money by buying the brake pads myself and having someone else put them on. I welcome your experiences/advice.
Thanks,
1973tn

A few months ago, my moms volvo need new rotors. My sisters b/f at the time is a mechanic. He just simply jacked each wheel with the Volvo jack and we removed the wheels and replaced the rotors. You could do it yourself. Just need some know-how. If you can replace the break pads, then it will go very easily.
Do you mean you will buy new rotors? Not pads?
