Hi after 5 years my rear wiper stop working or just go a few steps and block.
I open complete box with plastic gear and under the gear you can find 3 electrical
contacts.

All this was full of dust, water, rust, main wiper arm support was rusted so much that you
cant move it by hand but very hard.

OK I open this crap made in Czech Republic for Volvo. (Czechs are good for Skoda not for Volvo)

How is possible that Volvo make such a crap?
How is possible that water, dust and rust make this? Shame from Volvo and ducking Czech factory.:facepalm:

I washed everything with 95% alcohol and clean every part by engine cleaner.

Especially contacts must be very clean. Use a contact spray.

At the end I put white soft lubricant for plastics and motor rotor and voila everything
is working better then before.

Figure out where the water came in. It looks to me that Volvo never intended for that part to be wet. Once it is wet then the mess you have comes.

This is a typical volvo problem, and the dirt goes in through the axis opening. mine plastic gear was broken because of that, and it was impossible to repair or purchase alone. The solution is to regularly remove the motor assembly, maybe open the motor as you did it, clean, also clean axis and seal with thick grease

I just say big big shame for Volvo and factory in Czech republic. Axis was totally rusted and on axes you can see deep caves of wearing. Normally Axis on the top have one gasket. But this is not good for dust and water to stop it. My Volvo is 6 years old but from this 6 years I was using the car cca 4 years. (working abroad - car was parked)
Grease you must buy white one for plastics (printer grease) and some green grease for metal parts.

Its Indian owner with 10 factories in India and one in Praha.

I wrote an email to General Manager of this factory and I request a new part
bcs. this is totally crap.

This crap in Indian factories, Lamps in Northern Ireland, bad front disks Made in Germany,
what are ducking is made in Sweden? Just Blondie Swedish girls?
I will never again buy a Volvo. No way. Plastic fantastic parts.

So sorry but I already change so many parts that this is totally bull**** from Volvo.
And to mention that in 6 years I service my car regularly, change tires and all this cost
me until now over 10.000 euro. NO Thanks for new Volvo. Lexus forever.
