Re: Rear Wheel Rubbing Help !!!! (Mach_T5)

They can't be louder than BF-Goodrich KDW2. I'd rather die a slow death than run those tires again...

I would think u would be around 215/45/17 if u have 17 inch stocks.

245 tires? what the heck
I have 225/40R18 and they rub slightly... err... have rubbed. now the plastic in the rear wheel well is nearly "shaved down" - so there's no real problem with that.
but I think if you wear out your tires, you'll have to roll the fenders...

Re: (crossie)

Yeah, just get your fenders rolled. Cheap and pretty easy to DIY, rent a fender roller, or take it to a shop. I am hoping to have my fenders rolled very soon, just waiting on a buddy of mine to come through with getting the roller from his buddy.

Re: (carreragt7)

With rolling the fender what happens to the plastic !? because if i can just shave the plastic down then they will sit perfect and wont hit anything,,,

But as for rolling fenders.. How much should i pay to get both side done ?
Thanks

Re: (jdsr917)

I rolled my fenders but was unable to melt my plastic fender liners into submission like i wanted. Now that the tire has rubbed thru them no more issues

take a couple of pictures. I am interested how yours looks. When you rub, does it make a sound or you feel your car slow down?
