How did you check the flow? I had issues with a check valve going bad and an obstructed washer at the back window.

Swapped the output tubes at the pump (front to rear) so turning on the front washer caused fluid to come out of the rear washer nozzle.

 

I think you are on the right track, gotta check the relays and wiring. Sounds like the pump and washer system are not the problem. Is your stalk working? Does the stalk activate the rear wiper wash function and move the wiper?

 

It does indeed! Wiper moves back and forth a couple times when the rear washer's toggled. But the pump isn't activated, so no spray.

There are one or two other relays in the under-hood fuse box of the same type as the rear washer relay. This and the "rear washer relay" error in VIDA convinced me to swap them around, but there was no change in washer behavior or error message.

There's three different configs depending on your chassis number.

 

#8 is for the high pressure headlamp washers.

Right, for the 05-08 base models, I forgot about those. The headlamp washers on our cars use the same low pressure pump.

 

Hello, did you ever solve this problem? I have exactly the same thing on my 2006 V70 desiel. ERROR CEM 8F43, no front or rear screen wash.
Can't find fuses or relays for anything apart from the 'high pressure headlamp washer - and that works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
