Hey hey-

I haven't pushed the car much, but on a recent road trip to Palm Springs I experienced the sidehop for the first (and only) time. I'm taking the car to the dealer this coming week- should I ask for the rear suspension bushings upgrade while it's still under warranty?

Also, last week I had the dealer look at the driver-side front wheel while it was in for the 7500 mi service. There's a noticeable popping sound (like a rubber "pop") that comes from the front when driving (slowly) over any small vertical grade change- like speed bumps, inclined driveways, sidewalk aprons.... The dealer stated they retorqued the suspension. That seemed to work for about 3 days. Yesterday the pops came back. Any ideas?

I would think that the 06's already have the new bushing and SUM revisions. You may have finally hit a road that 4C doesn't like.

If it happens once it will happen again.

That being said you WILL get strange noises from time to time.
If it's only on rare occasions and they don't bother you, it's almost normal for these cars leave it alone, dealer may make it worse

That's why I still have Rev2 and the original bushings. The solution may be worse than the problem.
