can anyone point me to where I can buy an aftermarket (I don't think Volvo will offer it) spoiler for the S60. I am looking for something very subtle, like the one on the Pearl Colored Car on the link here (http://www.swedespeed.com/resources/gallery/auto_shows/iaa_01/msdesign_s60/pages/03.html)

anyone help please !!!

MS Design is good stuff. I saw that car in Frankfurt and took that photo. These guys make many of the OEM body kit pieces for some major manufacturers. I know for a fact they make the New Beetle Cup Racecar widebody kits, VW GTI 25th Anniversary front spoiler, rear valance, rear spoiler and sideskirts etc.

I cannot find an exact source, but it seems that the VAT varies depending on what kind of item is being purchased. The Swedish VAT can go as high as 25%!

I know that Sweden is one of the countries that allows you to get a refund on VAT, when you are in their country buying products, and return to the US.

The main principal of VAT is that governments do not charge the tax on exports of goods to other countries. I wonder if this applies to buying something from S.A.M. Steffansson?

A non-European Union resident is not subject to V.A.T., by law. As Drew pointed, out correctly, the V.A.T. differs from EU country to EU country and Sweden's is among the highest. Yuo will pay V.A.T. on many products only if you buy while you are THERE; and then you can get a refund at the Airport of the LAST European Union country of your trip. You also must show a passport other than any of the 15 found in the European Union (I always use my US passport but I carry my E.U ID just in case I need to AVOID paying tax on something).

If you buy something from a European Union-based website, they are not allowed to charge you V.A.T.
