Well, I'm trying to put together a laundry-list of the things to order to have my shocks/struts replaced. Think I know everything I'd want for the front, but, when it comes to the rear, are there any wear parts? Only thing I'm finding on IPD is the "Upper Strut Mount." Is this the spring seat for the rear shocks? Is that something different? Are there any other wear parts for the rear suspension? (Rear end links, maybe?)
Thanks!

Maybe that's what's broken and causing the horrible noise from the rear right tire whenever I go over a bump...

It's not what? The upper strut mount? Or the cause of the noise?

Just make sure you tighten the bolts when the car is on it's feet.
Often unwanted sounds and also behavior can be noticed when the bolts are tightened while the suspension arms are hanging. This way wrong tension is set on the bushings.

Thank you, sir.
So, that's a "replace if broken" part? Are there any wear parts? Like maybe #5, #9, or #10?

Re: (StarmanDXE)

Probably.
When I rebuild a suspension I use ALL new parts.
You have a 9 year old car with over 100K miles. Nice old rusted bolts, plates, washers, gaskets, etc.
Use all new pieces

If it's the same in the S60, I would imagine that you'd check the top mounts there and then check endlinks and swaybar bushings underneath...

Bring this back from the dead...
Are there control arm bushings in the rear which require regular replacing like there are for the front?
