OK headrest is out, car seat fits
Now ordering the replacement to stick it in place
Half tempted to cut the new one with the "ponytail" slit in the middle that I saw once on a volvo mockup
or shave the bottom so the seat can fit

are you sure your problem is not the plastic tab being broken under the third row seat/
