Okay I give, I do not understand the complexities of the Premium sounds system in my R so is it wise to wire in a dedicated amp to the rear deck speakers for a bit more base?( I have an older Pioneer amp laying around) Or am I smoking crack? <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vortexmediagroup.com/images/banghead.gif" BORDER="0">

Not a bad idea, a solid 50x2 ~ 75x2 would be sweet, if it had a bass knob...that would be awesome! Since the labor is so easy to do, its actually worth it.

Re: Rear deck speakrs and aftermarket amp? (chinaonnitrous1)

Cool, I think it is a 75x2 like you said and it seems it would be very simple to wire a 12 hot, ground and a trigger right? Where is the best place to tap the deck speaker for the input on the amp?

please keep us up to date on how this goes, I too have an old amp lying around from some unused subs (I find stock is fine, and installing aftermarket subs not worth it, but an extra amp couldn't hurt!)
