I bought the vivaperformance ones. The camber was set to -0.7 in the rear.

I found out that Volvo S40 camber specs are totally loopy. I think it starts somewhere at -0.5 and ends at -2.9 degrees.

Viva. I'm at about -1.1 in the rear. Spec is -1.5 +- 1 degree.

I have recd the arms from Viva and hope to install them this weekend even if the outside temps get down to 8 degrees. Great.

I have read that removing the fuel related part from the bracket (25 Torx) and bending the bracket will allow enough room to get to the inner bolt on that side. Any other suggestion?

i bet the viva control arms are just rebranded SPC camber arms. just like the ones eurosport tuning sells.

i have my rears set at -1.5, which is the same as my fronts after lowering. you should also check your toe, for maximum tire life set it to zero.

Thanks again for the info.

I installed the arms and set the camber (using trig. and a level) at home to -7 and -9. Took the S40 to the dealer for 45,000 mile service and an alignment. I told the service rep. to change the settings if they were off. He called a few hours later to say the car was ready and the settings were spot on! He asked how I got it so close without his $15,000 machine. He changed the right rear toe in by .03 (which was the side with the largest camber change -2.1 to -.9) and that was all the changes needed.
