Rear bumper with or w/o park sensors?

Hi! New member that has been reading for a while and appreciate all the good info here.

I'm working on repairing a rear bumper on a 2016 XC60 T6 AWD. It does not have rear parking sensors. I have located a used assembly of essentially the same parts that looks attractive, but it does have park sensors, otherwise looks like it should do the job. Will this work?

What do the park sensors add in terms of wire/computer connections? Worst case, is it just a pin connector on the cable harness (they all seem to funnel through one connector on the back right)? It would seem that I should, in theory, be able to cut/pull that extra wire if there is one. Alternately, what happens if I left it in - could this feature ever get "added"?

I could not find rear park assist, dealer install, available on any XC60 2010-2015.5
It looks like factory install only when the car was new or an upgrade package.
Front park assist install is available, if parts available.
Wiring for front/rear park assist below.
Do you have front park assist. Do you have 4/86 PAM in the Right rear corner.
The car is not prewired for front or rear park assist.
I could not find rear park assist SW for new install.

The only thing I have on my build is "Rear park assist camera". The original rear bumper does not have the 4 park assistance sensors, but the potential used replacement does. I do not currently have the PAM module.

1) Is this useable without the park assist? Anything I need to disable, different pinout on the harness connector, for example? At least that would give me the fog lights and a useable bumper. Just making sure that even with no feature add that it won't confuse the car with the extra items, thus wondering if I need to unwire anything.

2) From what I understand, it's a bit more complicated, needs a PAM, likely no way to add the rear software - correct?

Interesting that the front might be able to be requested, although I currently don't have that either.

Not to hijack this discussion but, I really appreciate the wiring diagram. I have a dead parking sensor and I wonder if there is a way to test the sensors at the PAM to see which one has failed?

Look up under the bumper to see if a rodent has chewed thru the sensor wire(s).
It is not very common to have a faulty sensor unless it got hit/damaged, bumped out of place.
A better OBD reader should be able to read/display PAM codes.
Sensor codes are numbered 1-8.
One of the front corner sensors is #1 across to #4, rear #5 is behind #4 across to #8.
