Yup, its possible to hook up a boost controller, Kai has the ever so popular A'PEXi AVCR
Hey Kai, did you have any problems with it and the computer, or did you already have/have to do mods to the computer to accept the added boost?
As far as the speed limiter, each chip is different, but I know the iPd chip elimates it (A guy with a T5 Wagon got his up to 160 at a track) The best thing to do would be ask the company when you think you have decided on the chip you want. Stock Boost is set at 8psi. If you do the w/g mod, you can get 10 if you stomp on it, other wise it stays arround 8. As for the rev limiter... they MIGHT raise it but I would be very supprised if the just take it off. but as I said before, each chip is different. In my opnion the iPd and the BSR are the two best chips on the market. The iPd you pay a heavy premium ($895 for chip alone), but you get a chip that has been extremely well thought out, and the longevity of the tranny was a high priority. On the other end of the scale, the BSR is cheaper ($615) more agressive (more power), and you also get a cone intake/heat shield. I'm not sure on the exact boost levels of either chip, but iPd Claims 175hp+/- with an exhaust and BSR claims 295hp w/o an exhaust.
Got to go to class, good luck...
