When I change stations in my car on the FM tuner, often times the sound comes in for a blip of a second then it says "searching" on the display. If i turn the radio off and on again it works fine.
Known issue?

Re: Radio Stations goto 'Searching' frequently (AbsolutZer0)

Yes. It's the RDS data being saved with the station.
Re save the station before the RDS info is received and you won't have the problem anymore.

You've got RDS data saved with the preset. Go someplace where you have no signal or very weak signal and reprogram them (e.g. bottom of an underground parking garage...)
That should solve it (did for me).

There's also a feature that tries additional fine tuning. One of my presets was always "Searching" after a few seconds, then coming back. I disabled the feature and it solved the problem.

Re: (Arbelac)

When it goes to "searching" you can just hit "EXIT" rather than powering off and on.
