I am trying to get to the headunit of the radio, specifically where the antenna wire connects, I am completely lost as to how to get access to that and where it is. If anyone has info as to how to do that it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Radio Help! (cabbazio)

the headunit is located in the right side of the trunk... at least that's the case with V50s... but should be the same in S40s, too...
you'll have to dismental some of the trunk lining, then you'll have access to the multimedia module -left side / radio head unit - right side.
so don't get mistaken by other cars, it is not behind the center console
don't know about the wiring, though.

Re: Radio Help! (cabbazio)

I took the trunk apart and all I saw was something that resembled an amplifier on the left side and nothing on the right side

what about the white box located under the left foot rest (dead pedal area)? I thought I heard that was for antenna wires as well. No?

Re: (slrising)

cabbazio, let me know if these work or if you need a bigger/better resolution I can email them to you. Not sure which module the antenna connects to though I would image the AFM though?
