Well everyone, I actually spoke to someone at USA spec about this problem and he said after 2 hours of trying to replicate it with their HU-803 unit on the bench, he couldn't. He suggested "resetting" the radio but warned that I would need to punch in my radio code.
Does anyone really think this would work?
Has anyone found the solution to this?
I haven't found a fix for it, but as sooon as I unlpug the PA-11VOL, it goes away. I suspect USA SPEC can't repliactae it on the bench because they don't have the radio plugged into the rest of the CAN BUS in the car.

I think we should just be happy a company came out with an inexpensive fix for our needs. I didnt get mine for the ipod input, as I can care less about that little thing. I got it for the hardwired aux input.
Tim
