[JHEIII850Turbo]

I have the SC-815 radio, and a light bulb inside it has burnt out, the green one by the top left side (power button, FM1, FM2, AM). I was wondering if it would be able to replace one of these bulbs...

Yeah, how are your micro sodering skills. Hehe, it has little minature bulbs, I got them from Mousser. Uses little bulb condoms to make them green, so dont worry about the color. Seriously though, I know Im decent at taking things apart and putting them back together, if you arent, you may want to pay someone to do it. Also, don use a big soldering gun, you risk some serious damage to the thing, use a small pencil iron. Also, the metal is sharp, very sharp, I got some serious razor like cuts on my fingers while taking it apart and putting it back together. While you are at it, have it all apart, I recomend you clean teh laser lens. It will make the thing last longer, sound better, and skip less. I guess Im assuming thats the cd unit, I dont remember what the cd model is anymore. Even if its the tape, and you do listen to tapes, that is worth cleaning. Use denatured isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab. To answer your question, yes it can be replaced.

Hmm... well, as far as micro sodering skills, I have none. Guess it's off to my mechanic... although I doubt he has them either.
