Re: race exhaust, single outlet exhaust questions (SDS40)

You lookin for oval can or round mufflers? I liked the look of that Viva exhaust just wasnt sold on the single tip since we have the cut outs for dual. Just like single exhaust on a S2000 looks off to me.
Ive used magnaflow oval cans on performance cars like my teg and sounded pretty much amazing. Very clean tone and not terribly loud, passed tech inspection at the raceway so much have been under 100dB
This will more than likely be my weapon of choice...

A single outlet exhaust is more than effecient for our cars, especially with a 3" inlet muffler. Dual is more of a novelty in most cases.

Re: (sanatarium)

Way i look at it theres not too many cars out there you can own which have dual exhausts so might as well rock it haha. Its much easier to build a single thats for sure but dual exhaust looks aggressive

Well It's Really Saving Weight , A Would Wonder about Heat Build Up , If Your Tracking the Car . I Think the Passenger Side Rear Is Lighter of the Four Corners , If Your Also Looking to Balance It some .

Titanium Mufflers or Carbon Fiber might do the same thing with - Duals .
The Large Center Cut Out with a Three inch Pipe Running In would be the Low Budget Fix - till You could get a Full Custom .

Just Cut Out 1 Big Sq. On the Bottom and Weld in Two Side By Side 4" Pipes 3/4 of the way Across the Bottom of the Stocker Muffler -
That Keeps everything - Centered Mounting Points etc. All Done .
Fast and Low Cost ( Cut the Oval or Round Exit Pipe in Half 3/4 Back )
Weld Them Up !
Heat Build Up is all I can Say about the Single where as the Dual Your
going to Two Exits that Could Flow More and that Branching Starts
Sooner . Cranked Up Turbo's are Going to Glowing Red . ( Tracking )
Dragging then LightWeight :
