My car is FINALLY getting fixed this week and so I've been relegated to driving our Pilot every day. I really miss my Volvo -- flaws and all.
Before I dropped it off, I finally got around to installing the XC90 bolts on my car to get rid of the stupid axle clicking. Did the original bolts on the R have a rubber stopper -- just like the XC90's bolts do? And, does the clicking start when that stopper wears away? If so, there wasn't even a shred of evidence that the rubber ever existed on the OE bolt. Kind of frightening.
-Eric

mine have still no metalglue and are still in silent prestine factory conditions after 6yrs ... nothing done with them ...just didn't raced off the line from idle
(burned a lot of PZERO's, think I'm at 4th set random ... new ones at rear naturally)
I can't believe my car is ready (all shined up, new paint...) and its basically flooding outside. Oh well, one more day isn't that bad...I guess.
-Eric
