Okay, I won't even call this a siting since none of my sitings are ever sitings of people on the board, but I came upon a black S60R on 287W this morning while heading into work.
The R logo had been removed and replaced with a Takspeed logo! At some point, the driver goosed the gas, so I thought it might be fun to follow and play a bit, too. No, no racing...just some fun (hell, I had coffee in the cupholder!). But, I can definitely say this is the first R I've seen on the road (and I've seen many) that, whether the driver is on this board or not, seems to be driven by someone who actually enjoys their car as something more than just an appliance to get from point A to point B.
It's about time.
-Eric

It was cool seeing the Takspeed logo. I thought, "hey, I know where he got that...and he's driving a Volvo!"
-Eric

I agree that all of the other Rs ive seen on the road have been driven by people that are not having the fun that they should be. If you are ever looking for fun im usually on 287 E around 1130 on wednesday nights...so much space but never anyone to play with

Re: R vs. R (Sue Esponte)

Eric,
I know him. Dark blue with black leather. He is one of three P2 R owners I know in my town (just north of NYC ).
A couple weeks ago I was turning on to Boston Post Road (Rte 1) here in town and was directly behind him and was trying to drive up next to him once on Rte 1 to give a wave when he floored it. Kinda a dick move, but how could he know I had my 3yr old in the back seat? But still, he and I have spoken in the past about him possibly bidding on building a new garage for me, and even then he was a bit of a prick. It's best you left him alone.
