i was giving the R some welly today, full throttle stuff, after 10 mins, the car lost power, just felt like there was no turbo, carryed on driving, after 20mins it started to work again, car seems fine now, no warning lights came on before or after problem, has this happen to anyone else??

the funny thing the R, has being feeling very quick today, compared to normal, maybe its been overboosting??

Coule be. If it overboosts, it will go into limp mode

and it did when i was in the depths of 4th gear, more stress at that point maybe??

is there any reasons for a car to overboost??

maybe ive got a special se edtion R, too much power for engine!! lol

I lost power in mine about 1 month ago
same situation I was just drivin and felt like there was no boost from the turbo. The dealer said the heat sesor broke and some how messed up. They said this can happen at any time. They downloaded a self healing program to fix mine. They alos said that is goes in to a safety mode and the car runs 1 pound of boost.

They said this can happen to any turbo model
