This pricing is pretty good. very similar to the previous generation Audi S4 (00-01).
They should sell well. Hopefully some other tuners start to take notice. ( APR, AWE )

quote:
Pricing is correct. It's also embargoed. I'll have it up on teh site around 6PM tonight with options.

George,
When will you have the Option pricing?
That is a good pricing for both of them. This will be much more tolerable to handle than the previous pricing of ~ $45K.
So what the heck is the Atacama Leather Seating? Is this a special leather? You would think that "Metallic paint" would be free for a car of this caliber.
Yannis, can we get the 12Volt outlet in the rear without buying the Versatility Package? I don't need nor want the booster seats or the third row seat.
RJ
As an urban resident, I can appreciate Volvo's decision not to market the wagon with 18" wheels. The 850R and T5R models came stock with 215/40/17 which had some trouble on rough roads. Lots of owners complained about "bubbles" or other tire damage as result of hitting a pothole, not to mention damage to the rims. The kinda weight these cars push makes it a little prohibitive to go to low on the profile. The S60R 18" would also have a 40 height and that on the wagon, loaded on the mean streets of Brooklyn wouldn't stand a chance. I put 45s on my 17" rims and never had problems. I opted for the 17s with my V70R order too. I saw a photoshop pic of an SUV with 40" rims somewhere on Swedespeed and a strip of rubber wrapped around them: very funny!!
I totally hear you on this. 18's wouldn't stand a chance in Boston either, especialy with the Big Dig still around. I have 17's for my VW Passat and actually bent 2 of them (driver side) this summer. I will definetely stick with 17's again with the V70R (Don't think you can go with 16's due to the brakes).
I just realized no mention of the V70R's rear spoiler. Will that be standard or avaliable seperately?
You're talking about this post with the 40" rims. But it is photoshopped though.
RJ
Wow! Those prices are better than I expected. However, I'll probably wait for the 2nd years to come out to work out the kinks... Anyhoo, I'll be checking them out at the LA autoshow this weekend... I'll post pics...
