I typically change my spark plugs yearly; this Spring I spaced out and forgot; performance degraded slowly but surely. Slight stumble at WOT, soggy gas pedal response, less overall "zip"...

Threw in a new set of plugs (Volvo OEM) and like magic, throttle response was back, no stumble at any throttle opening at any RPM, and more power!

I chuckle when I see endless threads about engine performance issues and no one gets to the obvious solution; first change your spark plugs.

I bought my R last year with 21k on the clock, had IPD replace the plugs last sept with around 25k

Change after the service-book and you will never have any problem?
