I had the same thing happen to mine. Probably some ricer that wants his or her integra/civic to have an R on it. Just think of your car having a more 'sleeper approach'.
Sorry to hear that though.

Thanks guys. Maybe I'll drop by the dealership. Hell, i need to get to know those guys anyway...and get accustomed to being shafted

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. It's probably going right next to the SGTVTEC on a '93 Integra with an exhaust with a larger circumference (and a higher ability to solve complex problems) than the owner's head.

Re: "R" badge for the grill... (kipp)

The clip on one, right??? I sourced mine, when I was working on my Ti emblem project, to a gentleman I met over on Volvospeed. His name is Tom and he can be emailed at:
[email protected]
As I posted in the other thread, I even had a small problem with one and he replaced it straight away. Very stand-up guy. I have used him for other part aqusitions since and all have gone smoothly.
The reason I mention this is because the bonafide S60R "R" front badge with integral clip is a little pricey from the dealer .

I paid 45.00 for the grill 'R' at the dealer when I did the Evolve kit. Re: (Parts @ Boston Volvo)

I'm in the same boat and am awaiting the badge I ordered from Tom after reading Quickbrick's previous posts.
Boston Volvo's price is pretty good (though not quite as cheap as Tom ) - a lot less than my local dealership quoted me.
I think the IPD badge is the rear trunk/hatch door badge, not the front grill badge which, as Quickbrick mentioned, has attachment clips.
Alternatively, you can always pick up an old "R" from a wrecked Camaro or Firebird and string it up to your front grill with fishing line

Re: "R" badge for the grill... (clee)

Another option for this, as mine was "lifted" too, is to put on the Takspeed emblem on the front. It would add some color and I think it would look kind of like an old Audi Bi-Turbo emblem (except theirs was red). As soon as they come off back order I plan to do that.
