I changed my MAP sensor awhile back, while it was bad the CEL was on but when I replaced it I took it out for a drive and the CEL cleared. Now today driving home my CEL popped on, oil and coolant is fine not running any differently, no misfires, Wondering if the CEL could pop back on because the code was maybe stored? Or I have a different problem.

If you don't have an OBDII, which assuming you don't from your comment, head to closest Autozone/Advance Auto/friend-with-one/etc. and check to see if it is a stored code, if so clear it and see if it pops again, or you may see a new code and would offer a little more direction for you.

Took it to autozone, bought an obd scanner while there for future problems. Code was p0089 fuel pressure regulator
